Jan. 3, 2018 — You are invited to the HYC BBQ “School” Saturday, Feb. 3 at HYC

You are invited to the HYC BBQ “School” Saturday, Feb. 3 from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. outside of, and inside, the Porthole. Join us Saturday, Feb. 3 and learn basic BBQ skills during the “Meats School”. During this School you will learn techniques you can use to perfect your BBQ brisket, ribs and chicken competition entries, or just be able to out-cook your friends and family. The cost is $20 per person or $30 per couple for the entire 6-Hour School. The price also includes a full BBQ buffet (starting at approximately 5:30 p.m.) which will include the meats, sides, and sweets prepared/presented throughout the day. Reservations are required and must be made no later than noon on Wednesday, Jan. 31. Reservations may be cancelled until noon on Wednesday, Jan. 31. The cost for reservations not cancelled by that time will be charged to the Member’s Club Account. For reservations, please call the HYC Office at 281.471.1255. Jan. 4, 2018 — SAVE THE DATE for the HYC BBQ ON THE BAY March 24 at HYC

The BBQ on the Bay competition is open to all HYC Members, as well as their families and invited guests on their Team. In addition, up to three Teams from governmental or other organizations having purposes complimentary to the Purposes of the Houston Yacht Club may be invited to compete. All HYC members and their families and guests, Reciprocal Club Members and their families and guests, guests of Team members; and other invited guests are welcome to HYC on the day of the Event.
