As a competitor in the Houston Open One Design Regatta, you are welcome to enjoy the facilities and grounds of the Houston Yacht Club. We are known for our hospitality, beautiful view and fine food. We will do everything possible to make your visit with us enjoyable and hope your time with us will encourage you to come back again soon.

Clubhouse: Our CLUBHOUSE is open five days a week, Wednesday through Sunday. We offer bar and food service for lunch and dinner on those days. The clubhouse also has guest rooms available for members and guests. Visitors are asked to obtain a guest card to charge for services. The office will be pleased to provide details at (281) 471-1255.

Berthing: Yachts entering this event may be moored free of charge at the Houston Yacht Club on a space available basis. Please bring your boat registration and insurance information with you. Contact the HYC Harbor Master at (281) 471-1255 to make arrangements. For more information about our harbor, CLICK HERE.

Cranes and Trailer Storage: HYC launching facilities include two cranes and a mast hoist, as well as two launching ramps. Please ask the Harbor Master for help in using the cranes and to find out where to park your trailer while you are here. His office is on the second floor of the pink stucco structure on the south jetty.

Showers & Heads: The pink stucco structures on each jetty contain shower and restroom facilities. If they are locked, ask the Harbor Master or a member for assistance. There are also shower facilities in the clubhouse under the stairs next to the pool.

Beachcomber: The Beachcomber is a shoreside pavilion on the edge of the south parking lot. Located at the head of Pier 10, it is furnished with picnic-style tables and benches and is designed to catch any breeze that is blowing. You may bring your own food and beverages to the Beachcomber for a picnic lunch.
