HYC Summer Sailing Camps provide an opportunity for youth to learn to sail and enhance existing sailing and racing skills. The program teaches sailing to beginners/novice, intermediate, and advanced sailors. Sailing camp classes use US Sailing’s Skill Up App with US Sailing certified instructors and coaches.

The program is directed by Charles Barclay the HYC Sailing Director. Charles has 50 years of sailing experience along with 30 years of management experience. His sailors have been awarded Collegiate All-Academic status, sportsmanship awards, have competed at US Sailing National Championships, and been recruited by colleges of choice.
