Whatever your interest, you’ll find social events and activities at HYC to fit your lifestyle:

Casual: Happy hour on Fridays, Super Bowl Watch Party, special parties for St. Patrick’s Day, Kentucky Derby Day Party, Trivia Nights, and more. 

Family: Easter Egg Hunt, Boo Boating at Halloween, Santa Party and Open House, Thanksgiving Buffet, Cardboard Boat Race, Mother's Day Brunch, and Father's Day Cookouts.

Fresh Air: A pickleball and basketball court, a bocce ball court, a children's playground, pool parties, and cook-outs throughout the year, and lobster and shrimp boils on the dock.

Formal: Commodore’s Ball, Ladies Association Cocktail Party, New Year's Eve, and Valentine’s Dinner.

Opening Day Weekend: One of the biggest parties of the year, with a boat christening, boat parade, Sunday brunch, the Opening Day Ceremony, and a champagne reception.

Independence Day (or Weekend): Watch the fireworks from the water, raft-ups, cardboard boat races, sailing races, bbq buffet, and a waterslide are typical festivities and activities we have to celebrate the birth of our nation!

The Entertainment Committee, Ladies Association, Women’s Sailing Association, Yachting Committee, Race and Regatta Committee, and the Youth Activities Program all sponsor social events. To discover their offerings, click on the name of the respective group.
