Membership

Membership in the Houston Yacht Club is more affordable than you might think. Our Members enjoy facilities that rival the world’s leading yacht clubs, including a 27,000-square-foot Clubhouse, four acres of grounds, 185 boat harbor, immediate access to Galveston Bay, year-round boating, and a youth sailing program that is second to none. We offer many programs and amenities that enhance the yachting and private club experience.  HYC is committed to maintaining the tradition and character of our world-famous facilities and providing our Members with every modern convenience.

We also have some of the friendliest Members on the Gulf Coast and a full program of racing, cruising, social, and educational activities for all ages. Boat ownership is not required for Membership.
