Year Round Sailing

"2021 Winter-Spring Sailing Program"

HYC offers year-round sailing to sailors ages 5+ and a wide range of skill level from beginner to advanced racer. Weekend practices are offered both Saturday and Sunday to all fleets from 9am to 4pm. After School Practice is also offered to Green Fleet, RWB, and Laser Sailors starting at 4pm.

Becoming a confident sailor takes putting in time on the water. The year-round sailing program is designed to maximize water time for each fleet. You are required to RSVP for each practice so we can tailor the lesson plan to the sailors that will be attending that day. Our goal is to get to know each kiddo, their goals and help them reach them.

The program also works to offer a place for sailors that are not interested in Race Team. The Skiff Fleet focuses on learning basics of sailing through adventure and games. There is a place for all sailors on the HYC Ragnot Team.
